2021 AVECO Conference

COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures

Our attendees, staff and presenter’s health and safety are very important to us. AVECO asks that you continue to check our website regularly as city, state and national health and safety protocols change, and more information becomes available.

In an effort to maintain safe social distancing at the AVECO 2021 in-person conference, the board has worked with the Union Station hotel to modify our previous capacity to a little more than half its usual size. AVECO will continue to monitor our registration numbers against changing guidelines.

We ask ALL in attendance to be courteous of others and monitor their own COVID-19 health status before, during and after the conference. Daily health screening will be implemented using both mobile technology and temperature checks.

Attendees and safe are asked to not enter the conferencing venue if you have any of the following systems:

· Fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit

· Chills

· Cough

· Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

· Fatigue

· Muscle or body aches

· Headache

· New loss of taste or smell

· Sore throat

· Congestion or runny nose

· Nausea or vomiting

· Diarrhea

Once at the hotel, in-person attendees should monitor their symptoms each day and adjust their attendance as needed to limit exposure to others by continuing their conference participation virtually. A virtual system checker will be available.

By registering for AVECO’s conference you are agreeing to adhere to all measures set by the CDC, Union Station Hotel and AVECO to include the wearing of a mask while attending the conference. Properly fitting masks are required of ALL attendees and staff in attendance as well as in common areas throughout the hotel. If you are unable to adhere to this policy we kindly ask that you select the virtual conferencing option.
