Tyler currently serves as the Assistant Director of Technology Procurement at University of Maryland Global Campus. In this role, he is responsible for the oversight of a team of Senior Buyers who procure IT goods and services for the University. Prior to this Tyler was the Assistant Director of Military Degree Audit
Prior to joining the UMGC in April of 2023, Tyler served as the Director of Financial Services at University of Findlay, where he oversaw purchasing, grants, contracts, accounts receivable, debt management operations, financial analytics, student financial services, and travel
Tyler has held senior-level higher education leadership positions at Arizona State University, and Maricopa County Community Colleges.
Additional past and present professional memberships, committees and affiliations include the Association for Veterans Education Certifying Officials, Maricopa County Foundation, and the National Association of College and University Business Officers,
Tyler holds a Masters in Business Administration from Tiffin University, is a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Project Management Professional.
