Kay McIntosh’s SCO career begun in 2018 as the School Certifying Official for MyComputerCareer. Advanced into the Compliance Department with MyComputerCareer and an AVECO Board Representative At-Large.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Kay earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from American Intercontinental University. Serves as a contributor to one of the nation’s Top Ten Military Friendly Schools. MyComputerCareer helps veterans and active-duty service members transition to civilian life.
Prior to joining MyComputerCareer, Kay was employed with Duke University Medical System as a manager for Cardiac Diagnostics. In addition, teaching at Fayetteville Technical Community College to help prepare students for a career as a Cardiovascular Technician.
Veteran services and benefits processing are key duties for her at MyComputerCareer. She continues to appreciate the opportunity to serve military-connected students and families with her commitment, effort and contribution in creating sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community.
Kay serves as Chief Judge for her local Board of Elections. Current member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood (Philanthropic Educational Organization) international women’s organization, The Local VFW Post 670 auxiliary board and serves as a Youth Leader with her local church. Kay’s spare time is well spent devoting time to help others for numerous public and community events. Devoted wife, mother and grandmother who is family-oriented and never minds going the extra mile.
