Cheryl Kennedy

Meet Cheryl Kennedy, who is the Director at Fort Bliss for Webster University. This is her first year serving as an active member on the Board of Directors.
Cheryl grew up as an “Army Brat” since her father served for thirty years. She has lived all over the United States as well as Germany and Crete Greece. She comes from a strong military family background. Her daughter served in the Air Force, her son-in-law is active-duty Army, and her uncle served in the Air Force. Cheryl claims St. Louis, Missouri as home but the past three years she has lived in El Paso, Texas. She says she is part gypsy since she lives a nomadic life and is a free spirit.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from McKendree University. She has a master’s degree in international relations and one in management and leadership both from Webster University. After graduating from McKendree she worked corporate America for many years before finally making the transition to higher education. Higher education is truly her niche. She loves assisting students in reaching their educational goals. She holds a special place in her heart for all veterans. Cheryl is proud to be a board member of this great organization!
